Tankship International LLC is an international ship brokerage firm established in 1994.

Our two offices in the United States are strategically located outside of New York City in Westport, CT and downtown Houston, TX.

Our success is attributed to vast the knowledge of our shipping brokers, and operations department. Our most experienced brokers having been involved in the shipping industry for over 40 years. We speak English, Spanish and Greek fluently here at Tankship allowing us to better serve our international clients and principals.

We specialize in the chartering of tankers for crude oil, dirty and clean petroleum products, LPG, dry cargo, chemicals and support vessels. Our primary focus is on spot chartering activities, however Tankship is very much engaged in time-charters, contracts-of-affreightment (COA) and sale & purchase and projects (S&P).

Often acting as consultants, Tankship International’s staff of experienced brokers and analysts offer their guidance in all forms of shipping ventures, investment opportunities and forecasting market trends.

Since inception, Tankship has focused on U.S. and foreign oil companies, traders and ship owners trading globally, with high concentration in the Atlantic basin including Central and South America, Europe, Far East, West Africa and the Mediterranean.

Tankship International is a member of ASBA, the Association of Ship Brokers and Agents.
